Jaz Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Ain't no laptop like a brand new laptop Coz a brand new laptop has......Warrantythats fair enough, but a used mac with decent specs is like $600 a new 1 with the same specs is like 1400 minimum...big difference Quote
Mitch Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 yer i picked my macbook pro up when it was one year old off ebay, and got the remaining two years warranty coz they bought applecare on it. Ive had it for three years now, still going great. But yer, you gotta be careful when your buying used. Can be a good way to save some cash though. Although i'd buy new now coz im not as poor as i used to be. Could you go the 13" mbp possibly with an external hard drive without blowing budget? Quote
Lurk6r Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Yeh get a mac pro 13"good thing about em is that you know when you press the power button, you know there going to turn on!Really? My mac NEVER turns off, shut the lid and it just sits there...... waiting. Quote
