Okay, so I picked this up today. I have no experience producing and want to know how I'm ment to set this up. Running Albelton Live.

Anybody got tutorials for me?

Or advice?

Cheers

it should be already mapped man, Akai and Ableton always work together for that, so it be just plug and play :)

the only thing you may have to fuck around with is latency like i did...basically if you press the keys and it takes a while for the sound to come out then u need to drop your latency (but not to far as it makes your audio crackle)

just set up my roland mv 8000 sampler as a midi controller & my edirol pcr 500 midi keyboard to Ableton serato bridge

this video was a help..

Woo. So finally I figured out how to assign the pads. My next issue is that FL Studio won't record It keeps saying I need to change my AISO or something. I have no idea WHAT that mean. Anyone?

Asio is your soundcard driver, you should be able to chnage it in the sound or output options in the programs settings, I recomend downloading the Asio wazza told me to get "Asio4All" I think it was called, it seems pretty good :)

So I downloaded that ASIO4All but the issue I have now is that when I switch it to that I have no sound from speaker. AND how do I record the patten I play from the FPC into the patter??

make sure your outputs are right for the ASIO in the options, dunno why it would change them though? and i dunno what the last part means...explain?
