imadje
some of you know i work teaching kids DJing.i need some new heavy dubstep/electro/wonky/bass stuff for them to use. stuff they will have heard or stuff that remixes chart stuff they have heard.Last few i bought were things like ministry bass winter 2011, i love dubstep part 1 etc..mix cds wont work for teaching as they dont have intro beats.... but buying individual tracks takes too long...So: any one know of any reasonable but still mainly commercial compilations of bass heavy or wonky EDM? posted in dubstep and electro forums as the type of music i'm after crosses both those genres. Jaz
your best bet is to do what your already doing but download the original track, the odd ministry of sound that i get i pick out the roses then find the un-mixed original version and there you have it or if you dont want to buy the compilation CD then have to buy the single tracks, just go on ministry's website and look at the track lists and do it from there, will save you some cash

Jaz
your most popular MOS compilations from what ive seen are, the annual, in the club, sessions, electro house sessions, sound of dubstepall of those you see kids in cars pumping the most, for me it all depends on who is mixing it, like sessions 8 was tommy trash and sam la more, 2 of my favs, so i had to get that shitbut dont forget the record label often decides what goes on the CD not the DJ's....for instance sam la more was forced to put "who's that chick - david guetta & Rhianna" on sessions 8 and he got into trouble for making a comment on how he didnt want to...yeh, pretty shit sometimes
imadje
i feel that bro, but that's why it's ideal for working with kids... thanxnot what i would buy personally, maybe 3 or 4 tracks i would use myself... but at least i'm not flipping burgers for a living... lloydc
i know it's not quite what you're after, but i found this which would bump up the collection considerably with some big house classicshttp://www.trackitdown.net/genre/house/ ... 37062.html
fackedd
I like that wild nights comp actually, I might pick that up. I usually just write compilation tracklists down and get them individually cause usually it's all pre-mixed.I used to get it ages ago when i was in high school and it was pretty horrible, looks pretty decent now.
