nooo haha.

there are plenty of reasons why 900s are worth it, but there is one reason that would make me upgrade just by its lonesome: quantized looping!! so so so useful.

you also get dj link, nicer screen, autolooping that actually works. and if u use a dvs in the future advanced HID (for serato at least), which is the Bee's knees. and if im not mistaken, 850s dont even have digital out.. fuck haha pioneer skimped on some shit.

what do you think about using serato or traktor?

hmm i see your point, but im not a fan of qauntized loops, id honestly rather practice hard and be able to nail perfect loops manually :) and yeh the DJ link is a nice feature but ive already got 2 USB's so that doesnt matter, yes the screen is tilted and brighter but from what ive been told the 850 apparently has a better waveform display, and yeh the 850's had a glitch on launch date where the autoloops would slowly get out of sync, but that was fixed in the very 1st firmware update, im upgrading to go to a full size platter and these are the new entry level for full size players so im happy :)

like i said each is there own, but "for me" the 900's features arent worth the extra money, 850 pair = $1300-$1500 used, 900 pair = $2300-$2500 used

extra G is alot of money for me, i could get a third player for that :P

ooo very tempting :? see what you can do, because used 850's are rare so i might still be looking....but if i have bought some buy then im sure you will have no trouble selling them

in the 6 odd months ive been looking at 900's and 850's the best deal ive found on 900's was $1700 and $1000 on 850's (pairs for both) but they got snapped up before i had a chance...
