SolDios
Ok so ive done this on my mdex and a cdj 900 and it does the same thingI hit play/use jog wheel to search and wait till the point of the song I want to cue, so I hit cue and the song stops as expected. But then when I hit cue again it just plays from the start of the track!?
wazza
when you cue....hit the play button , the track starts, hit the play button again for pause at the bit off the track you would like to cue... now jog/search to the right spot...now hit the cue & now the cue will be saved
Jaz
(I must have still been typing when wazza posted ^^^^, I pretty much posted the same thing haha)Try turning off auto cue, I don't think it would affect what ur doing but who knows maybe it's over riding it...Other then that i'm not sure sol, it sounds like ur doing it right...see if it's doing it on cdj mode as wellpress play n let it run for say 10 seconds then press pause and it will stutter on the same spot as it should, then press cue and it should stop and cue there...then hold cue and see if it plays from that point or the start...Let me know
imadje
what wazza said:there are two different standards amongst cd players and setting cues.pioneers normally you pause your track by pressing play/pause or holding the platter still and press cue = cue is set.Numark, american audio and several others you just press pause and play again to set cue.ON these players if you press pause then cue you go the previous cue, you have to press pause, then play then cue to have the new point set as cue.hope that helps. very hard to explain without the units to demo on.
