But you did go a little over board. Im just thinking out aloud here but maybe Cupe could include a feature when starting a new thread where it comes up with a notice saying something like;Have you tried the forums search function to see if this topic has been covered already?, and give the poster the option to click Yes or No.orSay you start a thread Help with beat matching, when you submit the new thread it brings up a message saying check out these threads before starting a new one. If they ask something that has been answered link it, but they might want some replies specifically aimed at their enquiry; makes them feel all fuzzy inside.What hobberz proposes (or anyone else for that matter) can be very difficult to implement. The search function exists, we shouldn't have to do anything else to point at it other than let someone know, or link to something for them.
