Tomy
The hype surrounding this VST was great enough for me to buy it. I must say only having owned it for a little while i haven't completely learnt the best ways around this synth and how to get the best out of it. The presets are alright and seemed to a little bit aimed at your more dubstep kinda person. in saying that there is more than enough presets to get you on you way in any style. The layout is alright. however i find the ADSR's along the bottom a little hard to mouse sometimes. From the front it seems pretty simple but there is way more to it than meets the eye, like i said i haven't got to confident with patching up this bad boy but from having a good play i've only just scratched the surface. The display is freaking awesome though, especially when you want to get your wobble on. Overall a pretty good synth i'm not completely sold on the total sound of it just yet. Its good for beginners being cheap and plenty of presets to play with, For the expert it may take a little to get your head around patching but i think you can get a pretty decent sound out of it.Overall rating 8/10 * i'm no expert. just my little thoughts & review to help out others. LabRat
Razor is a good synth from what I've heard. Did a colab and the other half used sounds from there. I feel that you can get most those patches straight out of massive so I haven't bought it yet. I wouldn't mind it just to add to the collection. It opens up in Reaktor yeah? LabRat
what kind of controller would you use with it? always been curiousYou could probably open it with the Kore controller. If not I'm sure you could assign macros to whatever you use
