Mitch
hey mate might be interested in these if you haven't sold already?are you selling serato as well or would i need to buy that off someone else?I was looking for the st150's as they wear the records less and have better sound? But how much more do they actually wear them out?
foedragon1
there are about 10 better reasons to buy st150s, especially since you want better sound but are using serato?? haha control tone sounds pretty shit regardless of what TT u r using st 150s are better then technics because higher torque, more adjustable, larger pitch range, heavier. Mitch
Yer but I want to play original vinyls as well as serato..And I wasn't comparing techics to the stantons, just the str8.150 to the st.150 with the curved tone arm. The st150 will wear my records out less. And sound better when playing original vinyls, correct?
ChevChelios
Straight tone arms wearing records is more or less a myth man. I was looking S tone arm stantons too but I settled for straights, dont regret it at all, as long as you set your cart on an angle so its with the groove, its no different, it also doesn't get in your way as much when you're pitching.
