fackedd
so you're thinking of getting a program but you don't actually know what it does?...................... lol.....C:It's a program that lets you play all your music off your laptop. Which is hooked up via an external soundcard connected to your CDJ's and/or TurntablesSo basically it avoids using CD's and/or vinyl

LabRat
imagine traktor and serato as your electronic mixing booth.all your songs are stored on your computers hard drive which are accessed by these programs. you're able to sort out "set lists" or "crates" by creating playlists - as you would do in iTunes.you have 2 virtual decks. these are set up in the same basic way as any cd player / turntable (pitch, cue, play/pause). you drag your MP3's into these decks and you mix per usual. controllers and traktor or serato setups (timecode) help make functionality easier. so imagine, your hard drive is your cd wallet / record box and the virtual decks are your cd players / turntables thats all it is
