first time i knew i wanted to dj was wen i just turned 18 and i went out with my cuzin and his mates all older than me, wen to all the clubs in kings cross as you do but then we kicked on to a club at 5 am in the morning Q bar but it has since been closed down

First time i walked in i noticed all the people were only there for one thing the music (oh and the drugs ha ha) and the dj was playin tracks i have never heard before, so i went up to the booth and observed this guy doin his thing.

I really liked a song so asked him wat the track was called and i remeber it was a bookashade track im even thinking it was in white rooms and went back to that club waaaaay too many times ha ha

hahahah yeah see i think thats what being a dj is all about... that one kid who is absolutely obsessed with what you can do. i remeber the first time i played at a party, i had my laptop and my cousin had a setup so i could use my virtual dj, i tore up the virtual decks and my mates little cousin came up to me and begged me to make him a mix.

always loved music, was a club fiend for 8 years straight (every thurs/fri/sat nite) and loved that fact that the dj could control my emotion and mood for the night. It didnt matter how shitty my week was, i could go to my club with my fav dj and forget about all the shitty things in life. Having that kind of power to influence people, the thrill of seeing ppl lose there shit when you drop some big bombs, is a natural high no drug can replicate.

Also, i love handing out my monthly mixes, then people coming up and saying how much they loved my music, that feedback never gets old
