legunner Posted June 6, 2011 Author Posted June 6, 2011 yer bro just in newy i bought them for 1000 and they have only been used once at a party and been used at home. Quote
dim Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 mannn. unless your housing market very different to ours a couple o'hundred dolla for your techs isnt gonna make much help towards a mortgage. this sounds like a partners' or parents' idea to me?keep the techs and use them to earn more instead bro? Quote

fackedd Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 yeah i agree with djim, one grand wont make a difference. Quote

awesome88 Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 i wonder if my mc6000 could be used as the dvs for turntables and traktor.... i know you can use it as an external mixer, but not sure as a dvs. Quote
awesome88 Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 yea i had a quick look, but couldn't find anything specific on it. i'm gonna have more of a look though cos that would be sweet.i only have traktor pro, not scratch pro though... would that matter? Quote
eggssell Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 to be able to use it with tsp it has to be one of those certified mixers. im sure there is a section on NI somewhere. if i get a chance ill have a look.(or in store dj it usually says if its certified). Quote
Jaz Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 to be able to use it with tsp it has to be one of those certified mixers. im sure there is a section on NI somewhere. if i get a chance ill have a look.(or in store dj it usually says if its certified).nah that just makes it easier....if its not certified you have to create your own map or download a custom map from the internetsway back in the day my hercules RMX midi wasnt certified n i had to download someone's custom map Quote
eggssell Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 djaz thats for using a midi controller with traktor.but using a device with a built in sound card to read timecode it has to be certified Quote
eggssell Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 heres the listhttp://www.native-instruments.com/index ... =1&rdrctd=of course that doesnt mean there isnt a hack out there. as with all attempts by companies to lock things down im sure someone has figured a way to break it. Quote
Jaz Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 djaz thats for using a midi controller with traktor.but using a device with a built in sound card to read timecode it has to be certifiedhercules RMX had a built it sound card as well...but if its still different...my bad Quote
awesome88 Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 it isn't listed here: http://www.native-instruments.com/index ... =1&rdrctd=and after having a bit of a look around, i don't think it is.i could use it as a normal mixer for the techs, but coudn't use timecode, unless i bought the box. Quote
eggssell Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 djaz yeah its diff. so you could use the hercules sound card such that you could use traktor. but if you were to plug tt's or cdj's to it you couldnt read timecode.awesome, yip as above youd need to buy an NI sound card (or another mixer) in order to use timecode. but not that im condoning but surely it has been hacked if you want to go down that way.there are other dvs' though who dont lock down the timecode. but i dont know too much about em. Quote
awesome88 Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 yea, i was keen to do it if it worked straight away, but not really if i have to buy anything extra etc.i'll look into it in the future, but would be stretching the budget just buying the techs atm Quote
