eggssell Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 cant see what you linked. but refer linkhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dub_musicnote however while dub music became a genre unto itself. the "dub" mix has been around for years, and a lot of non-dance vinyls would usually come with radio edit, club mix, acapella, and dub mix. the dub mix would be the instrumental version, and many times would be slightly changed to emphasise the bass (even if the OG song was say a rock song or a ballad). while many did, not all dub mixes had the reggae sound and hence didnt necessarily fit in the "dub" genre.
