Setting up midi controllers without Audio interfaces.

Hi guys, if i wanted to use my akai mpd26 with traktor or ableton to perform sets how would i go about doing it?

how would i set up my audio8 with them? (keep in mind ill be using the clubs or my own mixer)

Assign the MIDI control to the MPD26 and the audio ins and outs to the Audio8 I guess?

Both are two different pieces of gear that do two different things, so the software shouldn't get confused - it'll probably automatically assign them right.

I probably just don't understand the question

yes... all audio outputs from the audio 8 sound card...

Yeah, as wazza said, you just assign all the audio outputs and or inputs (if you are going to use DVS) to the Audio 8.
