I know this topic has been beaten to death but hey, things change right? it seems to me that when it comes to CDJ's the general consensus is that a second hand set of CDJ200's and a really basic mixer is a good place to start, but what about things like the Numark NDX400 and the Denon DNS700?

There is nothing wrong with starting on denons or stantons etc man, you will still get alot of the same basics down like bestmatching and learning your eq's n shit

no worries mate. i'd reccomend you go to StoreDJ.com.au and checkout there denon packs that are currently on sale. without hyping the website up heaps they do have some great packs. also dont be afraid to ask us for advice

yeah I've been looking at their prices compared to other places and they seem decent. most reviews of them report good customer service etc. too so I'll almost definitely be using them. As for advice, the DNS700's pack (https://www.storedj.com.au/products/SDJ-PK-DNS700-2) and the DNS1200's pack (https://www.storedj.com.au/products/SDJ-PK-DNS1200-1) are not hugely separated in price, and the 1200's have USB support which imo will be muchly appreciated, but are either better value than the other??
