dim Posted May 26, 2011 Author Posted May 26, 2011 just make your own edits of songs.^good option, better than entering a loop and thinking you can get away with that for 10 minutes!Am I right in thinking most dance mixes are still based on the 12" vinyl format and so are all about 10 minutes anyway?anyone got any other songs more suited to the function/mobile DJ that are long?meatloaf - paradise by the dashboard light @ 8.29bat out of hell @ 9.50 goodtimes by chic @ 8.10I've loads of jazz/funk/disco trips too but anything more up to date/less cinematic? DJ__PHANTOM_SHADOW Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 LOL, :>:>:>Any song that is going to keep the floor full and it depends how far U have to go to get there. One Wedding I did some years ago, was in an old winery and the trip from the DJ to the Loo and back was 14.45 min, ABBA mix I had was just long enough. So mix it up and turn the platers all night long!DJ PHANTOM SHADOW Quote

Funky_Steve Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Nutbush or BusStop are classic loo break songs I've used for years. You could also look at (depending on the function and time of night) Don McLean - American Pie or a Jive Bunny Megamix.:-) Quote
Lurk6r Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 This ones for cupe. Chuck it on, drive home, take a shit, come back. Quote
Florro Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 make your own mix of 3 or 4 songs that can be used for all occasions and record it to CD. Quote
DJBigKev Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 get yourself some grandmaster mixes from Mastermix they usually go for around 116minutes enough time for a shit and a smoke. Back in my Radio days we all knew when the DJ was taking a toilet break as they usually played the Uptown Festival by Shalamar think it went for around 16 mins one of the first 12" vynals made back in 1977.
