LabRat Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 lol at above posts... i might be able to help youfrom what i've seen, its exactly the same only this time you're using cd players. so unplug the cd player that isnt being used and connect it into your soundcard. then as you start your mix just pop the other one in Quote
dim Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Hey karma, hope i'm not too latejust wire the cd outputs into the same sockets on the traktor cables that you would put the vinyl outputs.do everything else the same except of course there's no ground/earth wire.but be sure to switch to cd control on your ni8 instead of vinyl control. there is a button on the ni8 to do this but if you have software lock on you may need to open the ni8 control panel on your laptop instead.finally be sure you do not have the master tempo button lit on the cd players. if you want the keylock use the software one on traktor, NOT THE CD players.p.s. shitting my pants about this screen post you put in the whinge thread..http://www.ausdjforums.com/modules.php? ... 3826#73826My traktor is due an upgrade but i aint doing it if that is the result. also fab dj said he had issues. any news on this mate? worth a new thread?
