Ableton Live - Dubstep Sound Control.

Im using to produce a couple of new dubstep songs.

My issue is that if i keep the master volume at full it distorts A LOT and red lines.

how do i fix this issue?

is it as simple as turning down the master volume fader

Never touch the master fader, NEVER. If you do Ill come to your house and kick your dog. In all serious though, turning don the master fader wont fix anything, it will just make a bad mix quieter.
