Do you feel pressured?

Just wondering if anyone feels pressured to add more to their DJ sets? Adding bits a pieces wetha it be an accapella, instrumentals or even getting into doing lives sets to be able to stand out in the ever growing Dj scene?

yes i do think that you always need to be evolving and changing with the times, live sets are a good way of doing this- though it can be harder to do it for a cd, cos you can pick a vibe from the crowd and go with that

i'm working on getting a live thing going at the moment. just too many dj's doing the same thing.

i'm also changing the way i play so it turns things semi live sort of. i dont want to give too much away because i've never seen it done as of yet. but its an ongoing project, will take about a year to get a full hour set at this rate haha

i hate all the secret stuff and hiding tunes from people but sadly, has to be done these days

yer man the pressure is there but so is the cash, i put a promo mix togehter and think its sick then listien to someone elses and wanna rip mine up i think its a part of perfectionism within us

if you want some good idea's check out any european festival acts, some are seriously insane and they only use cdj's 2 or 4, it's really good when you watch someone that really knows the equipment and uses the full potential of it
