CBG Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 I'm gunna judge him solely on what he did this time, not on his entire MEDIA PERSONALITY, which you ITM'ers are yet again getting majorly sucked into.He deserved to be punched Quote

Ravni Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 ok ill throw my two cents inthe mau5 makes millions of bucks, cameron is a small time dj compared to the mau5, the mau5 was never a dj to start with but took his show to the road so he has no idea how hard it is to get anywhere as a dj in this saturated market. Big deal so this guy dropped some wicked tracks, the only thing i say is dont drop any mau5 tracks or anything off his label anything else is fair game. If the mau5 is so great this was the perfect challenge to take it to another level, just goes to show even the best of them sometimes has their limitations on creativity, meaning he might just have his one style and show and cant adapt on the fly and that why he maybe got pissed off. Instead of tweeting saying this guy djing has just made me look average props he pullls out that shit. totally unprofessional and totally insecure as a person, if i was that cameron dude i would have kicked the whales teeth in for stopping the afterparty and making a rukus over nothingsimple spoilt little kid in a mans body grow up u fukin wanker and take some tips from the old skool performers and dj out there vath, levin, knuckles, cheers Quote
andyman Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 I think Ravni said it perfectly:totally unprofessional and totally insecure as a person, simple spoilt little kid in a mans body grow up u fukin wanker and take some tips from the old skool performers and dj out there vath, levin, knuckles, Quote
lloydc Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 anyone got a link to james cameron's site or something? Quote
Ravni Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 i rekon cameron should start djing with a mau5 head thats been ripped apart ha ha Quote
awesome88 Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 yup, as i said before, and as Ravni said.... if mau5 had have acted as the professional he is meant to be, it would never have happened Quote
Tomy Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Creamfields headliner Deadmau5 was involved in an altercation which resulted in punches with Brisbane DJ James Cameron at the event’s after party last night according to an eye witness.Taking place at Birdee Num Nums Nightclub, Deadmau5 tweeted “Thank god for creamfeilds tonight, coz the music at the afterrparty is fucking god awful.”He also posted “the openoing “dj” at the club decided to have a go at me. So fuck him and fuck that club. I left.”Four hours after complaining about the music he claimed he’d been punched in the back of the head. “birdee nightclub in Brisbane… opening DJ came at me later in the night and decided to punch me in the back of the head. #mistake”.Daily SPA has since been told that the DJ in question was Brisbane local James Cameron. An eye witness has told us that Cameron objected to Deadmau5’s tweeting (although it is not clear if Cameron was actually behind the decks when the Tweet went out) and ‘had words’ later. The confrontation ended with a punch from Cameron, it is alleged. Cameron has not responded to our attempts at communication today yet.Another eye witness told us, “One minute I was dancing on the dancefloor, next minute Music stopped and Deadmau5 yelled, ‘this afterparty is over’ and smashed a beer bottle. Was pretty dramatic!”The news filtered through to forums this morning with different versions of the event.A representative of the festival and Deadmau5 had not replied to Daily SPA’s request for comment today. eggssell Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 who the hell is following tweets while on a night out, and still wondering was it a sucker punch.(i mean i check adjf while hanging a slash but thats different not really, but i did check it in along bar line) Quote
Tomy Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 i'm usually on twitter all the time when i'm out. although twitter is starting to drop off a lttle these days. still he shouldn't be tweeting that shit regardless. Its bad for the venue and bad for the club he was at. dumb ass. Quote
TeeJay Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 not one article has gotten it right. all published by people that werent there. fuck i was there and most of us didnt even know what had happened till the next day. Quote
TeeJay Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 i like my friends involved would rather just see it go away. but for their benefit ill say no brisbane DJ provoked any fight whatsoever, not even after knowing what JZ said on his twitter..that had nothing to do with it.The whole altercation started from JZ being asked for a photo with the local DJs, and him not only being rude about it, but his manager jumping in and becoming physical with the local djs, where then the scuffle on the dfloor started, the locals were just trying to break it up, JZ jumped in to join and that is where the punch occurred. again it lasted all of a few seconds, and most people there barely knew what was happening. my recount of it has come from what i saw, talking with another person on the dfloor and the local djs involved. im only posting this sticking up for them, because theres allot of incorrect stories out there (almost all of them).I think it was a series of unfortunate events, the party was pretty quiet and JZ seemed to just want to keep to himself and have a few drinks after the tour... ive been artist liason to JZ a number of times in Brisbane and hes been a pretty cool nice dude, but he did the wrong thing with the twitter posts and honestly he shouldnt have come to the after party if he was in such a bad mood..IMO...anyway. thats it from me about that.** Quote
