Hey guys, so my next zero to hero will be on playlists and music, basicly Im going to be talking about good ways to build playlists, reading crowds and knowing when to modify it, and all that stuff. Any sugestions or tips?

Guys will occasionally use a hot female friend to try to sneak in a bad request.

Don't play sexy music if you don't want to see the hot girl you've been checking out make out with some random douche bag.

Memorize this phrase. "I had that new Britney song but the got scratched. By me."

But seriously, At a mobile gig try to make sure that every person enjoyed themselves at one point or another.

No directly related to playlists, BUT, do a test with all your lights on and amps on full volume. You don't want to turn on a light and trip the breaker.

Silence is always awkward.

just dont run any audio of the same powerboard or powerpoint as lighting...problem solved...strobes are the worste for cutting audio when plugged into the same socket/powerboard

can i strongly suggest you pick a different topic for your next video and do this topic after your first gig.

Reading will only teach you so much, actually doing it in front of a crowd will teach you a shit load more. Then atleast you can reflect back on experiences from your first gig.

Maybe just do some reviews of some cd's or whatever gear your using. That way you actually are reviewing something you know a fair bit about....if ya know what i mean.

also not trying to sound negative. but i feel your going about this the wrong way.

like alot of the video's your doing are video's that should be done be people with all the personal experience of actually doing all these things.

and seeing as your series is about going from zero to hero. i feel you should be doing your video's on the experiences you actually go through on your journey, not video's made from information off other people as you can often get given the wrong info there for making wrong points and wrong information in your video's.

just a bit of food for thought bro

I agree with Jonny here.

I'd honestly put more focus towards playing tunes and practicing the fundamentals, rather than worrying about the gear & videos on topics you know next to nothing about.

If you're going to make an ep of music, and 'reading crowds', do it after your first gig, because at the moment you've got no experience.

Perhaps talk about building your playlists according to genre, tempo, key, etc?
