I know DJ warehouse does mixing courses but I dunno if threy have a store in Melbourne or not, I don't shop threw them, not sure about production courses but I know Tafe and Uni do them, but they probs won't use your programs like ableton, and expect to pay a fuck load

I work in IT and my macbook pro 13" was first time ive ever touched apple anything

its great for multimedia stuff, there are no driver issues whatsoever because everything is proprietry and controled inhouse by one person/company

eg. Using my 350s in HID mode all i literally do is connec them both by USB cable

for PC: you need to download and install ASIO drivers, install these, hope to crap you got the right ones, have driver conflicts/crashes, and then sometimes it still doesnt work

im not pro pc or pro mac, i like to use them both, i can honestly say id go a macbook pro for your music/production/multimedia because its a lot easier to do and my mac has yet still to crash/slow down/freeze after just under 2 yrs worth of gigs

and plus, they just look so fucking sexy!

and having said all that i dont use dvs for my gigs anymore lul
