legunner
I'm looking to add something to my setup of my S4 and my macbook..I find the FX section of the s4 rubbish and hard to function on.I have seen Skrillex using a M-Audio Trigger finger as an FX unit and that looks pretty cool and easy to use.Any ideas? lloydc
machine is the only other thing that comes to mind, if you're talking about the trigger finger.

eggssell
there are plenty of pad and knob controllers. akai mpd's, korg make a range.but i thought the S4 has shyte load of knobs.are you sure you just dont need a remap to something more suitable? the S4 is just sending Midi controls to the software. you can assign any of the knobs and buttons to do whatever you like. legunner
well all my buttons and knobs are being used except the effects knobs which is my original problem that they are too cramped and hard to access in the hard road case that i have. RichoKidd
X1 if you dont want to spend a fortune, Maschine if you can afford it
eggssell
i just think the maschine is an overkill if you are talking about just setting of effects. as you wil already have transport and hotcue buttons.

eggssell
not only two different sides two diff purposes man. like saying im thinking about a microwave or a coffee machine! i mean both for a I am a fagget but they do diff things man. so i think the Q is what exactly do you want
