wazza Posted March 24, 2011 Share Posted March 24, 2011 ok...looking to go fill on video mixing and scratching...after testing the serato vsl demo on my new rane ttm57 sl mixer..I'm in lovethe video scratching works good ...the scratch is tight ...& the video EFX on the two decks & the crossfader are to cool and look good...(you can have 2 EFX's per deck + 1 for the crossfader )I have the crossfader on the ttm 57 mixer controlling video & audio and the crossfader on my edirol pcr 500 midi keyboard for just the videoas I said going "fill on..!!!"....so whats the $ 4000 for ???a Edirol / Roland v8 video mixer, a roland p-10 video sampler & 2 videos cameras Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
wazza Posted March 24, 2011 Author Share Posted March 24, 2011 this is how Im going to set it up...I will plug my laptop, running serato video ( controlled buy time code vinyl & the rane ttm57 sl ) into the edirol v8 buy VGA on one channel,one side side off the v8 crossfader [ the Edirol v8 is 8 channels video mixer ...but only two channels at a time ] on the other side off the v8 video crossfader will be the video camera's & the edirol p-10 video samplernow the edirol p-10 video sampler will be V-Link buy midi to my roland mv 8000 or my mc 808 audio sampler ...so when I make/sequence beats on the pads on the mv 8000/ mc 808, it will trigger video files at the same time the audio from the sampler will go to the rane ttm 57 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
