johnyboy Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Is there any operating in melbourne?Coming from london i grew up listening to the sounds of pirate radio but there seems to be nothing in melbourne?I used to co run a station called FRESH FM bout 8 years ago in s/w london loved it Quote
eggssell Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 but that because england is a much smaller island so its heaps easier to broadcast from a boat but for real when you say pirate i assume you mean non commercial. there should be a few local ones. also plenty of internet ones. cbg did a set for kiss (who are quasi commercial in that they are still primarily run by sponsorships i think) and tomy has a radio gig up in brissy which you can get online. and dj armed has his online thingo too. CDJbpm Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 I don't know of any pirate radio stations. But we have Kiss Fm. Its frequency is anywhere between 87.6 & 87.9 FM, depending on your location. Quote
johnyboy Posted April 1, 2011 Author Posted April 1, 2011 cant always pick up kiss, its bad reception all the time and you cant even get in where i live Quote
