Cupe
is it bad having a 6 slot powerboard running out of a six port powerboard?
legunner
I am no expert on this but i think it is better to have the other powerboard hooked up to an empty slot on a wall powerpoint as having another powerboard may overload the first one causing a total power failure. legunner
don't have enough wall sockets that's the problemAh okay then i suppose it would depend on the capacity of the master powerboard
FancyPants
all ur stuff should have a power rating in watts somewhere near the power cord. add all of em together, if the number is less than 2400 and your in australia your sweet

RichoKidd
I'm pretty certain you can get like 16 socket boards. Industrial shit though. Mining companys use emProbs $200 but
FancyPants
it doesnt really matter what combo u have, the socket in the wall is only good for 10 amps. if ur boards are all relativiely new, they will have overload protection anyway. so the one plugged into the wall will just trip off if it reaches 10A
Ravni
i fuked my mixer due to a power surge and those overload power boards dont do much in the way of protection, i got my self a surge protected power board for think its got 8 sockets for around 80 bucks and they give u insurance on ur equipment up to 25 grand if it fucks up due to a surge
