Cupe Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 pretty goodhas what it needsjust dont go overkill - keep it simple stupid Quote
Blodders Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 font was hard to read in mozilla other wise good site, nice and basic also think of replacing the photos with events you have held as you start to get more gigs... i recognised a few to those images from back in 2003 Quote
Jaz Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 yeh the font is deffinately clashing with the background in mozilla Quote
GuptRX Posted February 15, 2011 Author Posted February 15, 2011 do u guys mean the top banner picture and text is clashing?Blodders: thats the first thing ill do when i start doing gigs. kinda hard when you've only done 3 and forgot to get any shots Quote
awesome88 Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 nice, i like it mate. Like said above, i think some pics from your own gigs once you've done some more would be good, just to show realistic pictures of what people would get etc.maybe put some pics up of a gig for what each package has been like?dunno? just chuckin it out there Quote
djarmed Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 fine in google chrome mate.Looks good, is idiot proof to which will help your customers MASSIVELY Quote
SourceRaver Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Very Smick!Dont forget you can host documents on Weebly so folks can easily download your terms/conditions etc Quote
Lach Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Looks good. I did however have a look at your contract and it should be fixed. You need to check the spelling of Cheque. My advice would be to hire a lawyer to do up your own contract and not just take one from overseas. They have different laws to us. Try to keep the contract as simple as possible. Too many terms and conditions can scare off some people. The Entertainment Agreement I use is only 2 pages and is written in easy to understand language. But I think the basic layout of the website looks good. It's quick to navigate and has enough information to get them to call. All just my opinion of course. Best of luck with it. Quote
Lach Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 hahaha. Just realised Dennis isn't here anymore. After reading through the older posts, I'm glad you guys didn't put up with his crap like other boards do. He is a cancer on Australian DJ's who thinks he speaks for all Aussie DJs on the forums overseas. Sorry, just had to vent. Glad he is gone.I also realised this is only my 2nd post. To introduce myself, I run a small (10 person) mulit-op on QLD. We do about 500 events per year with our main work being weddings. We also do a heap of school events. Feel free to PM me if you want help with anything. I've been in the industry for 12 years and will be happy to help anyone out. Plus, I won't bug you about licences (although I do believe in keeping things legit). Cheers, this is much better place since the last time I visited.Sorry if I've distracted from this thread. Quote
Cupe Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Heya, welcome - redo an intro in the Introductions sectionI'm sure GuptRX will appreciate your input Quote
