Welcome to 2011, and a huge thanks for everyone’s support. Hard Kandy has delivered some amazing artists last year, with Huge shout outs to Yoji, Alex Kidd, Kidd Kaos, Brisk, Bioweapon, Kutski, Xdream to name but a few. For our first event this year we have a stellar line up with UK super stars Dark by Design and new comer Shock:Force, along with Sydney’s Xdream, back by popular demand. Hard Kandy is committed to bring cutting edge hard dance artist to this side of the planet, coupled with our exciting team, we bring you dance events that are flavoured with fun music, exciting concepts and fashion excitement. Except the unexpected with Kandy flavoured fun in Feb, as we kick off the year in full force. Scott Alert would personally like to thank everyone who stood by the brand with recognition in the shortlist of trackitdown, Hard Dance Awards as "Outstanding Contribution to Hard Dance" bringing global recognition to the hard work down in Australia promoting artists and music here.

Dark By Design (UK)

Gaz continues to innovate the UK hard trance / hard dance scene with releases & big remixes on the likes of TIDY, MASIF, TRACID TRAXX, TUNNEL RECORDS & HARDTIMEZ all under his DARK BY DESIGN, GAZ WEST, AVALINE & KAIN MARCO aliases alongside his own label DARK BY DESIGN RECORDINGS. Dark By Design not just a DJ set but actually a 'showcase'. It is, in fact, an almost pre-live set that has been delicately prepared that exhibits exclusive remixes, re-edits and new tracks - never to be released - full of effects to blow away any crowd!

Shock:Force (UK)

(Radio One Supported) SHOCK:FORCE – A name now synonymous with the hard dance scene are one of the fastest growing headliners in Hard Dance, having already earned main stage slots at a multitude of the UK’s biggest club events like Bionic, Goodgreef, Frantic & AWsum. Xdream (Syd)

Has the complete X-factor and is back by popular demand to hard kandy. Watching her play is as intense as her music! Originally a dancer, her passion for dance is unmistakable. On stage she is dancing just as hard as anyone out there! Besides her obvious skills as a turntablist, her stage presence and intense energy keeps the crowd pumped and the floors filled. Xdream plays anything from uplifting trance right up to hard trance/hardstyle, but you'll mostly hear her playing her unique, intense sound of uplifting, banging energy, hard trance, with sexy twisted girl vocals, Whilst she is scratching, cutting, sampling and using acapella’s, she brings the X-factor to every set.. There is never a dull moment!
