Love to hit up Wonderland, Holy Grail, Mothers Milk, Killing Time and most bars up the Windsor end.If im heading out to the city I really enjoy the Toff, Workshop, E55 and Loop.I play a variety of styles when I DJ. All depends where im playing really.Breaks, Prog, House, DnB, Electro. Quote

Blodders Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 oh the memory's of multiple day benders ending at revs' and trying to work out how to get home cause you have spent all your cash.. think those days are behind me, though i find my self going out to see people play these days not just for the sake of going to a clubspent NYE at 24 moons and have been to heaps of gigs at alumbra, brown ally, white charlies, seven, though the craziest and best sound system i have heard was at The Market. though the crowd can be a little touchy feely with can be a little over the top. (gay crowd)if you haven't worked it out i love my soulfull house Quote
andyman Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 If your not homophobic, Market can be a good night out; even if you're straight.Same goes for the C Grade nights at the Mercat. Quote
CDJbpm Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Yeah loop bar is cool. They have wicked visuals. I recently sent a demo disk there hoping that I could play early to get some club experience. They have wicked DJ's so its doubtful (but worth a try). Quote
CDJbpm Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 LOL. Good old Revs. When no one else is open, you find yourself at Revs at 7:00a.m. Classic. Quote

I dont think you'll have much luck getting a slot there as they book events most nights and usually have a full roster. Best bet would be to talk to a promoter that runs a night there. We're running an event there this Friday. Come down if your free and bring me a demo. We'll be looking at running some more in the future.Facebook event: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=121536407912636 Quote
