eggssell
ha ha im sure your right. i just flicked thru the video and didnt see them mention HID and ten hobberz mentions timecode so i thought we'd moved away from HID.
Gandy
the reason why i said its so easy on mac is because you dont have to worry about stuffing around with the asio4all drivers and crap, with mac its all just natively there its literally plug and playwasnt actually talking about the software itself
Hobberz
I was just after info on how HID worked apposed to using Timecodes. Now I'm confused. But too start off with I was wondering if Jaz could used Traktor Pro in HID mode to connect his decks via USB to save him buying TSP. Gandy
I was just after info on how HID worked apposed to using Timecodes. Now I'm confused. in lamens termsHID (human interface device) makes both cdjs midi controllers for tsp, so no need for soundcard or timecoded cds
eggssell
okay. so in that case if it is just MIDI control then you should be able to use traktor duo/pro, and no need for the scratch versions which from what i thought had dll's (or some other technical thingamajiggy( in order to accept the timecode from the sound card. right? Hobberz
Yeah thats what I was thinking. I use timecode's at the moment but was just interested about HID mode as I thought Jaz could use it to connect his decks without buying the sound card etc. But now it seems we are all confused. Time to shut up
