Looks like the all in one midi controller market is going off, here is another one only days after Pioneer released their version...

Store DJ has them retailing at $1099

i was looking at this as well. anyone think it is worth pushing for a refund on my not working S4 to buy this instead of getting the S4 repaired or whatever?

as per aus consumer law you certainly can, retail store can deffo get a credit for this so you might as well if you're considering it.

you don't need to settle for a store credit

Repair, replace or refund for faulty item, it's your choice which. they will try to insist on repair, then store credit, just make it clear you know your rights and want a refund.

ok mad... i actually like the unit, but i got it before all these new controllers came out so i think im gonna get a refund and then decide.

at the end of the day if i still like the S4 and they resolve all the problems, i can always buy it again. don't really trust it now though

not to pour cold water on what everyone else is saying, and yes if its faulty then they must give oppurtunity to repair, replace or refund. but only if it is the S4 at fault.

if it is your OS or compatibility issues then it is at their discretion. of course in the interest of customer service they would sort out something i.e store credit but they are not obliged.

i.e. for example if they can get it working (and not necessarily working to how you imagine it to be) i think you got diddly squat of getting an outright refund.

it was alright. I took it in and they tried on a swap but i just said i wanted a refund instead because i didnt trust another one. They tested it on their own comp and it stuffed up epiclly, so they gave me a refund. I thought it would be more of a hassle but spank were really good so im happy about their service.

So now im looking at this

thats what i mean. it didnt work on theirs meaning it was hardware. but if it did work and ndicated incompatibility, they wouldnt have been obligated to do anything. but hey all good and thank god for you. heard the spank cats are pretty cool
