No not all, less then half have them built in, you have to specifically buy a surge protected power board, I only run them just in case.... They cost a little more but it's worth it

Not too sure.

What I do know is my tv etc in my room is connected to a $5 power board. My plasma and ps3, and all my Dj stuff are running off $50 Belkin powerboard which is surge protected. Thats all my electrical knowledge :P

My mate has a Monster brand surge protecter, cost him like $500 staff price. Its the size of an amplfier and has LED displays and shit. His 3D TV still blew up in an electrical storm. Unlucky much

I sell some hectic surge at work lol. We sell them for about 300 and buy it in for about 80. Does over and under voltage 6 or 8 ports. Covers you for up to 50000 $ worth of goods and also life time warrantee. Haha I sound like a bot

Yup, only things i don't have surge boards for are my kettle and toaster.

T.V/Computer/Stereo/DJ Equipment all on belkin surge boards.

Most of the time they won't stop a storm (i.e lightning strike) But at least i know they're covered if they break.
