CBG
technical opinion:Kick is ok.bassline is ok as well.Pads fit.arrangement is not great, its a bit all over the place.Lyrics, start off nicely, appropriate for this style of music. I like that panned delay at 1:52. However that bit where the lyrics build up gets incredibly annoying. The become really out of time and the vocal just doesnt sit. you need to tighten it up and cosidering automating a filter to rise up.Personal opinion: great for your first effort. But PLEASE do not get stuck into making this melb style kick bass minimal style. It's absoloutely rubbish technically. Im not talking about you, im talking about a lot of it. Guys like reece low are just using a fucking single oscillator synth, a kick and a bass. and thats it. somehow ppl like it.Basically, if you want to get into production. try making everything, every genre. because in my opinion a monkey could make a kick and a bassline syncopate.
