transition 1- pretty decent cant find many faults

coulda maybe brought it in sooner but thats all i can think on

transition 2- sick build up like massive buildup love it!

transition 3- cant find any faults sounds good dude

transition 4-great trans worked so good

just woulda fazed out the old song slower but was great

transition 5-it was all beat matched and that but it just didnt flow to my ears

i know its a hard song to mix in to some songs.. i have it to

altogether gandy a great mix mate all i would do is cut down the song lengths. it makes for a more intense mix mate

rep+

haha thanks man

trans 1 was like holy fuck im nervous im playing in my first comp OH FUCK DID JUST MISS MY QUE and i brought it in 8 beats to early, was like fuck fuck fuck too earllyyyy so it dragged on to long in the mix

trans 2 when i dropped that i was actually really chuffed with myself haha cheers

yeh i agree with trans 5, it was a last minute swap as i wanted to leave a little bit of a cheesy taste for the floor, i could here it sounded fine in my cans but didnt suit the song being mixed into and was too late by then

cheers for the feed back

great track to kick off with

I love something that takes a while for you to work out it's a remix or different version

also lets people know a new DJ is on the floor, then when they here the shit they love they can bash every cunt to grapple their way to the dancefloor - then you got 'em. just need to keep 'em

second transition had a bit of a sharp drop off for me, but it's into a good energetic song, so I might of pushed a bit further through the intro into the build up into the epic drop at 6:fifty something

i like when drops sneak up on you and suddenly appear like a ninja in transitions. but im a dirty mixer

third drop was intense. i was like beatboxing over the top of it and shit half doing other shit listening to it and fucken loved it

this track fucken reminds me off that dubstep mix lawlawl OH MAI GAWSH

even still has some of the dubsteppy robotic noise in it. fucken dope. punters would of tripped out over that shit

slower fade out might of been nice, but remember, we're critical as fuck. drunk punters don't know shit (except if they're some pro wannabe DJ cunt who's trying to rip on you all the time (smash him later))

good outro track. shit like that makes the crowd be all like 'who the fuck is this wack cunt' when the next DJ rocks out his weak intro track (dont do this if you're opening for someone dope :teef: LAWL)

anyway, yea

but remember, we're critical as fuck.

thats what i was hoping for. I'm very open minded when it come to critiscism because i want to always improve. I'm my own worst critique anyways i was bashing myself up over it when i finished so yeh.

I love openening with hello, its such a feel good warmer uperer, i know as soon as i hear it im like "wooo fuck yea lets party!!!" then just drop the dirty electro bombs haha

cheers for the feedback

@djaz - honestly to me thats what its all about, sharing the love nothing makes me happier then another dj coming up and going "that was a sic track im so using that"

Before I comment on the mix i have to say...

I doubt I could mix as well in my first competition (never had the guts) and it would need at least a good 45min warm up before I could do what you did.

So giving feedback about your mix is like taken something good and trying to make it perfect. So I had a quick listen to the mixes and...

In the 1st transition I would have liked the incomming track to be a fraction louder.

The second was great!

A felt the third song in the mix lost a a bit of energy, nice chunky beats then it sort of died a bit. It would have been good if you mixed in the new track but kept the bass line of the old track up until the break

For the fourth tran, the outgoing track seemed to end a bit abruptly. Maybe you could have mixed the new one in a bit earlier (and killed the old one at the break) or faded the old one out a bit faster.

I thought the last transition ws pretty seamless to be honest.

I'd love to have a crack at mixing the same songs.
