Not really. Just make sure you tag all your posts properly, and use the plug ins that help you get higher up on Google.

My industry is fairly competitive, but not so much in the technology department. So i'm hoping to get to be better friends with google

lots of documentation out there

best initial thing is to make a bullshit email (because you'll get alot of spam) and sign up with the free services that submit your site in bulk to a number of search engines

the other huge thing that ranks you higher is backlinks, so do alot of link swapping

your META data is mega important

On the right hand side theres a box which says "tags" I do believe.

Chuck it all in there separated with a comma.
