Trance clubs in Sydney

Hey guys ive been trying to find a good trance club in Sydney, but everyone i speak to only know of top40 clubs

im hoping someone on this forum might be able to shed some light for me

But seriously, Im pretty sure sublime is a trance/hardstye night, goes down at Home nightclun on darling harbour (amazing venue )

trance/ techno in the main room, may get heavier not sure hardstyle (though it always changes what people drop into hardstyle). def hardstyle even quite gabberish in the padded room on the second level.

then good ol house at the very upstairs. thats where i used to be rockin' to kate monroe!

though im pretty shyte with my genrefications and have not hit home in donkeys.

best venue in syd hands down i rection (as in layout). just not always done well. kinky disco on sat way back when use to be awesome.

when trashbags were running OHMY! it was epic, they still occasionally have OHMY! but isn't run by trashbags so its not that great, although g-tronic was ridiculous. They got rid of the ohmy cube hanging over the d-floor though

You could try your luck on ITM, but you would probably get abused.

im not to sure about home nightclub, deffinalt amazing to walk around, its great for events, but as a......club....i dunno, i recon its just TOO big haha

i liked that about it, as long as it was full.

you know three different dance areas, lounges on level 1 & 2, and balcony on lvl 3.

i went thru my phases of going heaps then skip it for almost a year, then get back into it. but plenty of nights upstairs rocking to kate, but i guess yeah the upstairs floor is the size of yer normal club.

the superclub promoters trid to run their super rnb nights and then it definitely was way too big!. they filled it up enuff. lines were all the way down darling harbour, but the massive layout didnt suit the rnb meat market, cuz you find someone to grind and then if you lose em you aint ever gonna see em again

oh and when i said best venue dont mean it had the best nights. if i look back kate at sublime, is prob equal to Sounds on Sunday at greenwood drinking bevvies in th middle of the day. and fat @ gas on a thursday night. i could hit that shit from the first dj who usually played a more rappity rap set, till the wee hours of the morn when it would be totally jam packed.

sydney is generally crap for trance these days, there's no regular events.

Arty is coming to town soon, not sure where that is though. checkout trancetribe.com, that's a good sydney based trance forum

You can meet loads of trance addicts there. Plus it crosses trance genres (uplifting, progressive, psy). If you like all types of trance from hard to uplifting, from industrial to hardstyle, I promote a number of events from my Club KTashtrophy facebook group.

Trance may be hard to find in Sydney, but it certainly isn't non-existant.

Trancetribe.com is certainly your best forum for trance info in Sydney.
