mikew598
ok so you have your audio file loaded into ableton and your warp markers set ready for slicing to midi..... my dilemma is when i transpose the audio track then warp to midi track the midi track isnt transposed ? it just sounds the same as the original if anyone knows what i mean ? is there a way to transpose the audio track so when you do warp to midi the midi samples are transposed aswell? Tomy
i'm not 100% on what your saying. the way i generally slice to midi is chuck the audio in a channel right click on the sample and select slice to midi (or send to mind, something along those lines) then is cuts up all the main transiants into a midi clip and go from there, double click on the midi clip an re-arrange it how you want. however i get a feeling thats not what your after. ChevChelios
Try this, transpose your clip, drag it onto the arrange page if it isn't already, then consolidate (ctrl+j) and then slice to MIDI, pretty sure that should work
