awesome88 Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Hey guys,Do you think if you are aspiring to be a club dj at some point, it is worth spending the money on some cdj 1000's or 900's for practicing, or not such a big deal? Quote
JonnyB Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 400's are fine to get, its what i use and i made the transition into the club scene fine. they are exactly the same cept the cdj has a few extra features and a bigger platter Quote
awesome88 Posted November 17, 2010 Author Posted November 17, 2010 what have you already got?At the moment i just have some reloop rmp-1 scratch's and a behringer djx750 that a mate gave me when he upgraded to see if i liked it. But i have outgrown them pretty fast and aren't inspired to practice on them.I've been looking at the 400's which look pretty good for the price. Just looking around to see what is the best value. Funky_Steve Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 If you're looking at the 400's it may be worth checking out the 350's. They have similar features to the 900's and 2000's in that they have the ability to be played off a USB stick ,etc. Quote

Gandy Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 although the platter is smaller than the 900's, 350's are good bang for your buck, and the improved jogwheel/response time compared to the 400's is probably worth the little extra you pay for them.i bedroom bang on my 350s and have no issues jumping on the 1000's at the clubs Quote
