Wireless mobile Broadband.

Need wireless broadband for my 3 weeks up north this christmas.

Cant get it from the resort cause I've sacked our manager so I may not get access/password.

Thought of using the company phone and link to laptop but the connection costs 99.00 so no better off than using Telstra W.M.B.

Only need it for 3 weeks so I dont want to buy a usb plug for 80.00 and pre pay only to throw the plug away after.

Optus is not available in Broadbeach, so I'm told.

Dont want to lurk around shopping centres either, using their wireless.

Any suggestions?

libraries tend to be slow as though.

drive around the suburb with your roaming on until it picks up a network

can plug my iphone into my laptop and use it as a wireless receiver/modem , and just run it off my 3G reception

keep that pimp hand strong and demand the password XD, could always pull the "its against company policy to withold information owned by the resort, should you break this i cannot guarentee your sick leave/annual leave owing will be paid out in full" or whatever that standard clause is in most contracts/policies

maccas is a pretty good option if they have it, pull up for a McCoffee and chill while surfing the net/reading the paper

if you drive around really fast with a net out your window you can actualy catch internet signals....do this for an hour or and you should of caught about 3 gig's worth of downloads////i do it all the time.

to get it to work just place your computer into the net and magically you get internetz
