LOL! That's exacty what I do with my old tower. Works well but the sound of the fans is annoying as hell!

Step 1 - buy cheap ass laptop cooling pad (with built in USB powered fans)

Step 2 - remove the fans

Step 4 - make another wall for your tower and cut holes and attach fans

Step 5 - plug in usb and off you go!

Better still...

Just use the cooling pad as the wall itself?

Oh yeah...

For good cross ventilation put a fan on either side of the box. One sucking air in and the other blowing hot air out.

Surely buying a couple fans from an electronics shop and connecting them to the pc power supply can't be that hard?

Cupe, is it up against a wall?

I used to have issues with my desktop at home till I moved it away from the wall so the air could circulate better. Also my case has an LCD panel on the front which shows the tempurature and has a knob to control the speed of the fitted fan.

For the desktop in the DJ booth at the club, they have a desk fan blowing onto it whenever it is on.

yea i never leave the cover on.

might see if i can get it away from the wall and have the mini fan blowing on it

the mini fan seems to do pretty well, but its not really heating up weather-wise just yet

bring on the high 30's
