ha ha so you went the technics way already.

well we all want a set of technics.

watch ebay, but it can be frustrating. i watched for 6 months and it drove me crazy. asked every single one i bid on when they were made, and you cant really find anything newer than say 8 years. still i bid for heaps of em.

i still watch em but having sunk 650 a pop for st-150's i cant justify em. but i still dream of finding a not so old pair that go for cheap, then ill sell my stantons to cover some of it.

if you can find MK6's that would be the ultimate (not including the limited edition ones that came out from time to time)

trust me, don't start wanting technics. I was told don't bother with anything else so I have been chasing a pair of technics for around 8 months. I have come close about 4 times but some prick has always grabbed them.

but it becomes like a little game.

ive seen them a pair go for $800 with crappy mixer. they were about 12 years old with one dust cover cracked.

and there have been a few singles that will go for $500.

they look pretty warn (actually looks like the black paint has been redone amaturely). id ask for photos of the limited number they quoted.

From the description they were pretty top notch, but he didn't supply any pics so I couldn't be sure. Only a year and half old.

thats what happened to me bro. six months i watched and bidded on heaps!!!

at the time stantons were retailing for $8 or 9 hundred, so when dj warehouse had them on sale for $650 each i was like fugg it and grabbed a pair.

then after the sale the retail price changed to $695

but oh well i was glad to finally get down to it.
