Gandy Posted October 31, 2010 Share Posted October 31, 2010 prog house, bought a bunch of scrillex tracks this weekend (omg how much has he fuckin killed it so amazing) and was sorting them into my genre lists and when i came to "all i ask of you" i was like wow, what a beautiful track, checked the genre then checked out the top 10 under prog house and ended up buying 8/10 of themsuch awesomeness for sunday sesh/beer/bbq/sunday arvo performing in publici think i want to make this my main genre, which is currently electro house Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

tubby Posted October 31, 2010 Share Posted October 31, 2010 prog house is a bit of a dumping ground when beatport can't decide what to call a track. electro, minimal, trance and a lot of pretty commercial stuff ends up in that category. not necessarily bad as you get a variety, but can take a lot of digging to find the sound you likeeg michael woods I would classify as a trance producer. jerome isma-ae would be my most reliable producer in the prog area Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
