Only because I love drums and it will be much easier for recording, and much quieter for the neighbours

what sort? i've been looking at getting the creative instruments maschine, it's a lot more than a drum kit but it's still there

My dad has an electric drum set.

They are pretty sweet to have a smash around on used them once to record some beats, but preferred using VST instruments with ableton.

I've had a go on one. They're insane.

Definetily gunna buy one when I have the coin.

If your gonna get one, get a roland v-drum. Expensive but worth it, the cheaper brands are fun at the start but their modules are very limited and it can get frustrating and buying modules on their own is hard and expensive.
