Funky_Steve Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Guess what I'll be buying! Was going to wait till I got my laptop sorted and worked out what I was going to do with all my music on CDs. But if it comes down to this price locally, I'd be crazy not to grab this now. Quote
Cupe Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 fuck off good.what the fuckis that kaoss pad built into the mixer? Quote
chrismak Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Thinking about getting it bundled with Kontrol X1. It would be nice to control browsing, loops and FX with a piece of hardware. Although from my understanding you can only assign two decks per X1.Apparently international shipping is free from the Native Instruments shop. The only reason to wait for local retailers to follow is convenience with any warranty claims. Quote
chrismak Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 what the fuckis that kaoss pad built into the mixer? That's Pioneer's DJM 909. http://www.pioneer.co.uk/eur/products/4 ... index.htmlIts essentially a 2 channel scratch mixer with various FX accessible via the touchscreen. Quote

CBG Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Im buying it. Will get my MAC next yr, then a Xone 4D from overseas... BAMN!! Quote
CBG Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 free delivery. fuckin impressive. I paid close to $100 to have my cans sent over Quote
tubby Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 xone 4d is great value is you get from uk. a few stores will help you get VAT off, so that's about 15% off the price. Then with the dollar so high you should be able to get one for about $2K plus delivery. compared to aus prices you could probably fly there and pick up for similar price Quote
CBG Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 haha yeah, tell me about it. warranty isnt a huge concern, cus ive never broken anything in my life. If it does, ill get it repaired by someone.I'm gunna map my axiom pro keyboard to tsp Quote

BeatLeSS Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 That seems like a deal too good to be true. I was looking into serato (the view of it seems to be more to my liking) But what are the advantages of something like this over my CDJ900's/RekordBox ?? Is it going to prove handier for me in the future.. the timecoded cd could be handy to play out on others gear etc but that seems to be about it? Quote
CBG Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 record box isnt a DAWtraktor does 4 deck, beat synced etc. Analyze in record box and use traktorim getting it so i can run 4 loops all synced. Im a prog dj/producer, thats what it all about Quote
