ill_spector Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 http://www.native-instruments.com/en/sp ... ktor+50%25FKN LOVE THE US DOLLARnew tsp for $355, bargain! Quote
eggssell Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 yeah saw that!! massive bargain. id hold off for a day or two before ordering online. last time they had tbis promotion aussie retailers followed suit. and if from the splash page about the sale you hit find dealers the aussie dealers are listed. but yeah massive sale!!! Quote
tubby Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 no way in hell aussie retailers would sell that package for AU$355. but for that price it's almost worth buying a secnd copy just for the audio8. I paid $600 or there abouts just for the software Quote
eggssell Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 maybe not quite $355 but prob close.i think it was last year traktor went half price for every upgrade so dj warehouse and store dj went half THEIR price for an upgrade.so i'd expect them to halve whatever their prices are now.yeah i got TSP for $690 on sale, so anything less than $400 is gonna be a bargain Quote
tubby Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 half normal price it's still worth importing. Stuff I've bought from germany arrives in 3 days, saving $150 (at absolute minimum) is worth a 3 day wait Quote
eggssell Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 oh yeah i guess so. i dont know why but i thought TSP retail had dropped to $700 but its still $850. so yeah for sure even w/ shipping it prob will be cheaper direct! Quote
chrismak Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 no way in hell aussie retailers would sell that package for AU$355Maybe retailers who price match will honour Native Instruments prices. StoreDJ is listed as a NI dealer so I think there's a good chance they'll match the price. Quote
eggssell Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 ahhh thats why i thought TSP had dropped to $700 because Store DJ has it retailing at $700, less if you a memner.so i flip back again, yeah wait for the aussie retailers to follow suit. they did last year with the upgrade offers. Quote
GuptRX Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 store dj has TSP now only $399, just ordered myself a copy!!!! woop woop Quote
ChevChelios Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 really hoping serato return fire with a similar deal. Quote
eggssell Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 really hoping serato return fire with a similar deal.doubt it. unless they are planning on launching a new version soon, but seeing as SL3 is still sitting there not any time soon i reckon.like everyone said above. traktor is likely wearing a hit on the software portion of the sale because they have already recouped the dev of TSP, so instead do this to increase customer base. then when the new software comes out, even if only 50% of the customer base buy the upgrade, they will make substantial profits because their customer base is bigger. Cupe Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 no way in hell aussie retailers would sell that package for AU$355. but for that price it's almost worth buying a secnd copy just for the audio8. chrismak Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Somehow i've been able to track my TSP shipment even though I selected free shipping.Anyway, here is the tracking info for my shipment. If you guys also bought it on the 28th October it should be similar:30.10.10 13:00 The instruction data for this shipment have been provided by the sender to DHL electronically02.11.10 18:05 The international shipment has been processed in the parcel center of origin03.11.10 06:04 The international shipment has been processed in the export parcel center08.11.10 12:34 The shipment is being transported to the destination countryIt looks like it was sitting in their international export parcel center for 5 days before they finally sent it on a plane to Australia. I guess you get the shipping service you pay for. Quote
eggssell Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 you have to be weary (and doubtful) of international shipping claims. sometimes when they say 3 days, the fineprint actually does say it will be shipped out from their office and in the hands of the exporting shipper in 3 days, NOT necesarily to you in 3 days. CBG Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 thanks for that mrchris +rep. so, this week id say . you guys might get it quicker up there Quote
