JonnyB Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 my way of seeing it is free downloading is only gonna give the artists more exposure, push more people o their live shows and in turn get them more monay.afrojack said it himself, hed rather his tracks get out to everyone and people hear about him and go to his live shows. Gandy Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 so you get paid to play it but refuse to pay for it?i think you are confused, i buy my music Quote
Tomy Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 glas its gone. the music industry kinda needs the win.although it wont make any differance at all in any way. they may as well not have bothered. Quote
FabDJ Posted October 28, 2010 Author Posted October 28, 2010 Exposure does give the artists more fame than record sales.Have read this before, the only losers with pirating are the record companies that give struggling artists poor royalties anyway.Artists got less exposure when walkmans came about way back and replaced boom boxes as only one person hears an artists song on headphones. but a whole street could enjoy (and later buy) an artists song with a boom box blaring.
