Jpthegeezer
I've got one, Equipment One Store in Malaysia. This dodgy f%#kwit has it all, customer reference in Australia using some way of diverting an australian phone number to overseas to fool you into thinking gear has actually landed in the country. They even have a fake freight company website to make you think your order is in transit and then they hit you with customs clearance fees, demorage costs, "DHL" costs the lot all through Western Union. I even had someone contact me who told me they were from an authority who were gonna arrest these people and wanted me to set them up with a payment and they took off with the payment instead. This bunch of scumbags have extracted a small fortune from me and I'm in the process of contacting the cops in Malaysia. Here's their details:The company details are as follows:Name: Johan CarlssonCompany: Equipment One StoreAddress: Lot 6/7 Jalan Perpaduan Kampung , Puchong, Selangor, 4712, Malaysia.Website & IP: http://compatic.miiduu.com/ - IP Address 54.236.174.15 http://airaidlog.com - IP Address 185.28.21.36Email Address: mc.djocky@outlook.com Phone Number/s: +60143649071 – Johan’s direct phone number. +601116677714 – Management Phone Number.Shipment Tracking No: 1381393273 - http://airaidlog.com/track.php DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM MALAYSIA, THESE GUYS ARE F$%KHOLES WHO WOULD STEAL FROM THEIR OWN MOTHER. Jpthegeezer
Any time mate, I've been burnt big time and I've definitely learnt my lesson. Anything that sounds too good to be true and has the slightest ting of fish smell means that it's off in a big way. From now on my hard earned dollars are staying in this country supporting LEGITIMATE australian businesses in this industry. Cupe
We often get people questioning if something is real from some random DJ gear site with the most amazing prices we've ever seen.If it's too good to be true, it isn't.List of known scammers:http://www.muamat.com/classifieds/-30/p ... BitMaestro
My top tip if buying 2nd hand off Ebay or GumtreeReverse Image searchRight click on picture > Copy image location > Google Images > Paste into search bar > Search by imageOr on chrome: Right click on picture > 'Search Google for this image'The photo of the Turntables I bought were also used on an ad on the British Gumtree.Quite possibly the Aussie one stole the legit british one, or could be part of a massive syndicate (let your imagination/paranoia run wild!)And bank transfers should be THE warning bell to abandon ship.
