Samplers/The Fruity Slicer

hey guys, just wondering whats the Logic equivelent to the Fruity Slicer.

for those of you who dont know what it is, its basically a sampler, you drop your sample into it and it splits it into /8ths or 16th's equally and gives each sample chop its own key, so you can play around with it in the piano roll.

hmmmmmmm not sure.

in ableton you just right click and select send to midi and it cuts each transiant up into a midi note, is that what your after?

i have no idea what any of this means but according to professor google if you want to stick w logic you can use stripsilence then assign via exs.

but its easier to use phatmatik or recycle to slice then bring it in
