eggssell Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 the headshell is that thing you can twist.heres a cartridge with styluswhich screws onto the headshelltechnics did make belt drive machines. you may have got one of those. does it say technics anywhere else?? but when you say you can lift the platter off, is the platter spinning via a magnet, are you sure yours is a belt drive. my old man had a belt drive marantz (which we use to scratch on when he wasnt around ha ha), and the platter never came off Quote
Buck_Choi Posted October 9, 2010 Author Posted October 9, 2010 100% it's belt driven I can take te rubber off it. I think when I go get needles I'll bring whatever I have in and they should tell me what else i need or if I need new ones Quote
