dezza1994
Pretty much a noob to DJing at the moment. But read up on it a bit. I'll get started by saying all i want to do at the moment is play music at parties off my laptop and that is about is. So got the laptop covered. Looking to pick up a BCD3000 mixer. Then from there i need advice on what amplifer and speakers would suit what i'm going to be doing boys? I take it works like this: LAPTOP > MIXER > AMP > SPEAKERS?Cheers

Jaz
ok dude im gonna be brutally honest with you, that 1st pack looks pretty average, and as for the other packs, 1. ive had 2 off those amps (SPL-500's) from DJcity, the 1st 1 came repaired from another buyer, got that replaced, 3 weeks later i got a second 1 and channel B was brokeni demanded a refund and 5 months later i finalllllllllllllly got it off them, but they did not even refund the postage costs, wankers....you can make your own decision, but in my opinion stay away from DJcity and save a bit more and get some Cheap Behringer gear or a cheap but reputable brandTry this site www.storedj.com.aumost members here use these guys, they are great

Funky_Steve
Depends on where you are but looking at the prices at StoreDJ, I find Lightsounds in Sydney beat them on a number of items.e.g. CDJ2000 $1970 from Lightsounds, $2399 from StoreDJTry to shop around before you commit. And NEVER pay retail!
JonnyB
be sure to stear clear of DJ wearhouse. they are trouble to deal with apparently, and when we hired gear off them for a boat cruise the cdj's TRIPPED! jumping between tempo's and stuff, i dont think they look after they gear
