sampling with reason?

hey guys ive been told that recycle is the sampler for reason which is all good and all BUT mp3 files that i wana chop up to get samples are apparently the wrong file format, is there an easier way or am i missing something or what? ive used fl studio but ive paid for reason so i wana use it ya know... i havnt really looked in to tutorials yet lol but thats prob the best idea thought id ask yall 1st

yeah mp3's dont seem to work well with samplers?

try and get it changed to AIF or something.

AIF for mac WAV for pc. i haven't used reason much so not really familiar. but WAV will work with everything generally.
